Pin Pad A dedicated pin pad allows the customer to enter their secret debit pin number separately from your credit card terminal. Pin pads can also be connected to our ECRs (Electronic Cash Register) and Point-of-Sale systems. Merchants can reduce their costs of accepting electronic payments significantly by employing pin pads for debit cards. Pin debit only requires the merchant to pay a fixed transaction fee and avoid the discount rate associated to standard credit cards. All Pin Pads sold by EMT are PCI certified.
